Supply Chain and Pharmacy

  • The eleventh week of the QHR Health Supply Chain COVID-19 Warehouse program provided another large number of product lines ordered by our client hospitals.  This week we are pleased to communicate 100% order fulfillment
  • 31 hospital sent orders for fulfillment
    • The warehouse has limited quantities of the following items:
      • Tyvek Suits XL and XXL
      • XL Gloves in box counts of 90, 180, & 250
      • M Gloves box of 300
      • Disposable Ponchos
      • Dupont shoe covers M & XL
  • Gilead has set the pricing for Remdesivir at $390 per vial for government pricing and $520 per vial for private insurance. They have established a 6-vial treatment over a 5-day treatment course.

Finance/Reimbursement/FEMA

  • HHS Announces CARES Act Relief Funds distribution to Rural Health Clinics (RHCs)
    • RHCs that received a relief fund payment on or about May 1, 2020 are not eligible to receive this payment
    • HHS did not distribute CARES Act Relief funds to all the RHCs in the USA
    • Hospitals that operate multiple RHCs should ensure each certified RHC received payment on or about May 1, 2020
    • If a RHC did not receive a payment on or about May 1, 2020, they should receive a payment within the week
  • Main Street Banking Update
    • Federal Reserve Releases Updated FAQs
    • Lenders are now able to register for the Main Street Banking program for purposes of loaning funds to qualified businesses
    • Federal Reserve developing program specific to Non For-Profit Hospitals
